my ex while we were still married took out a loan against a house I signed over to her,but it shows that the loan was in my name also but I never signed anything on that loan. Then later she sells the house and not only do I not get anything from the house, she doesnt claim any of the money she made on the house as income. Is that legal?

I would question the details on how a loan YOU never signed for was made in your name. That sounds like fraud to me. Get a lawyer and find out your rights.

there's an exemption to claiming income from a sale on a house - not sure what the limit is but she didin't have to claim it, legally, but you should have gotten some of the proceeds.

That would be an IRS Issue...and since you were both married you are responsible for your spouse even if she stuck it to you. If you have a problem with it, report her to the IRS
