I got bitten by one of those little white mice one time. It was like 7 years ago, i dont remember sick, and i bought the mouse from some people who had like a whole bunch of them, i never felt sick or anything. Do you think rabies might be dormant in my body for 7 frikkin years? i never got any shots or anything, and i didnt say anything about it when i was a kid because i was like 11 and was scared to get the shots, so i kept my mouth closed, and eventually completely forgot id been bitten till i was watching something on rabies, and i was just wondering if u guys think i might have rabies. btw, mouse died like so long ago, my mom killed em because she was extremely horrified and disgusted by them haha, anyways, tell me what u think.

I know this is not very comforting, but even the experts disagree on the incubation period for rabies:
"It takes some time (the "incubation period") before a person exposed to rabies develops symptoms. The incubation period for rabies can vary. It can be anywhere from a week to over a year. An incubation period as long as 19 years has been reported. However, it usually lasts about one to two months. The incubation period varies, depending on the amount of virus introduced into the body and the distance the virus has to travel from the site of exposure to the central nervous system (CNS). The closer the bite is to the CNS, the shorter the incubation period. Bites to the head and neck are usually associated with an incubation period of less than one month."

What is the incubation period of rabies in humans?
"The incubation period, which is the time period between exposure to the virus and the onset of symptoms, can range from approximately three weeks to eight weeks, but can be as short as nine days or as long as seven years. The incubation period depends on a number of factors, including the severity of the wound, the location of the bite and the susceptibility of the person to infection. People who are immuno-compromised will most likely be more susceptible to rabies."

"The incubation period is the time from exposure until symptoms appear. The length of the incubation period depends on a series of factors. In humans, the incubation period is usually three to eight weeks, rarely as short as nine days or as long as seven years."

"The incubation period for rabies in humans can be as short as 10 days and up to 1 year but is generally 4-7 weeks."

Chances are you do NOT have rabies, but it is still a very remote possibility. However, domestically bred mice are not usually a source of the rabies virus. If you had been bitten by a wild animal, your chances of contracting rabies would be much greater.

If Your Mother Killed The Mice, Then Your Possibility Of Contradicting Rabies Is Very Less.Although Mice Don't Spread Rabies As Rabies Virus Is A Very Picky Virus.

You'd rather ask the quesiton of strangers when you should be asking a nurse or researching it on the internet....your priorities are out of whack.
Only one person survived a rabies bite, everyone else who contracted rabies has died within a week or two of getting it. So since this was 7 years ago, it's a non-issue.

Rodents very rarely carry rabies, rats, mice and so on, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know. I don't think pet mice or things carry rabies though.

If you were infected with rabies, you would have died within three days of the bite.

It doesn't sound as if you have long to live. I don't suppose you want to know, but it's a slow, lingering, agonising death.
