How to make this costume?

Any ideas? Pinning faux fur to a teeshirt, and buying leather from Joann is all I've got.

Fleece would be a lot cheaper and easier to work with than leather. If you need it thicker, go with quarter inch foam instead. For the hard epaulets on top of the shoulder, maybe some vinyl.

You can glue the fur if you want.
