Yes, and there have been times I am totally speechless...but most of the time I just smile and tell them I am sorry they feel that way if I cannot find a compromise, and either end the interaction or conversation with something nice but final. Like Goodbye, or Goodnight or I have to work now. Thats about it. :) -Rachel.

I am in Thailand. Many people here are rude. But I don't care I am nice to everyone. I was in Bangkok walking when a man approached me with a knife wanting my money. He ran after i pulled my knife and when his eyes were on my knife, I hit him. The only rude person that deserved that.

Yep. I deal with it at school everyday. You show respect and and try hard to earn theirs, yet you're treated like sh^t. That's why I'm glad that it's the weekend. But what do you expect? That's how most of United States is turning out.

Not ordinarily, but sometimes I do. I hate rude people, but on occasion i find myself being rude, but with due reason..

Yes all the time! I work at American Eagle and I always have plus size women complaining that we dont carry plus sizes. I wish AE would just up thier sizes for these women!

i work in a call center. sometimes my callers can be very irate. but i love my job and can usually calm them down. i try letting them know that i am not the enemy and try to be as helpful as i can. but once in a while you get that caller that just wants to yell and scream and not let you help, and there isn't alot you can do for them.
