They're equal.

Destroying negative things is just as important as building positive things.

What do you mean as better? As far as talent is concerned, the builder gets the nod. Anyone could destroy a house given enough time, but not too many people could build a house that will last for years.

I would rather be friends with someone who builds or creates things not destroy things.

The only better thing to do is : to destroy evil/darkness, and build up a true good world for generations to come.

One that can build. Destroying stuff is easy. But where does that leave the guy who builds stuff to destroy things?

What could possibly be the rationale behind this question? Do you wish to see the world destroyed because you have decided a destroyer is the better man? Do not hold John Galt up as a destroyer. He only facilitated the real destroyers. Once they cried "uncle," he would become the world's greatest builder.

The one who can build is better...Because after the destroyer has destroyed, the builder can choose to rebuild or not to rebuild. But the destroyer cannot build, neither can he destroy that which he has already destroyed, and therefore must depend on the builder.

Building is a positive thing...destroying is not.

Destruction results from other than human effort. The weather, geological events, and disease are probably more responsible for destruction than human activity. The need for power is the principle action behind human activity that results in destruction. When the reality that no one really has power is accepted by our species, and that humans will never have dominion of the weather, or ways to prevent other natural disasters, hopefully, we'll all just be able to get along.

Its easier to destroy, and harder to build. The one who can do whats harder has more power than the one who doesn't have any challenges to face.
