Because Al Gore is a huge snake oil selling liar.

I could not believe in that until this morning.
Al Gore - Nobel Prize winner. He and child molester, terrorist Arafat .
Congratulations Al Gore.
Now, on more serious note:
You can't be serious. Al Gore has as much credibility on environmental issues, as Bill Clinton has on marital fidelity. This is just another way of keeping himself in the spotlight a little longer...

Hypocrite Gore Should Practice What He Preaches.
After an examination of his record, it becomes clear that Vice President Al Gore talking about science and technology is like Fidel Castro or Joseph Stalin talking about freedom
and democracy - each knows little about of what he speaks.

English court just announced, that Oscar winning movie has at list 9 lies.

Yes. But I will tell you only one secret CHI. I was very disappointed with President Bush press release as congratulations were send to the Ex-President Al Gore.
But I never said that.

Me for one I am elated !! He deserves it. Yes, we should all be proud. He fought long and hard as the "Ozone Guy". He never tired. Forget Clinton, he gives to himself.
FYI the book "Giving" is published by a German conglomerate that owns Random House. They are a basically non-profit group yet only contribute to government and social changes in society. "Reform democracy" hmmmm

Not quite like working with the UN now is it?

Above: that was days ago and did they find Diana's killer's ? 20 million, yet again to investigate who did nothing all over again? The closed doors as the ratzzis circled offering no help? The driver paid by the foul bunch. And they were aquitted? SO go for the Queen, make my day?
NOPE we'll hit AL Gore. Funny, as a Island nation they will be underwater first as the North Pole has no ice at all by 2100. Jokes on them!

Happy? I'm over the moon! Al Gore getting the Nobel Peace Prize confirms that such an award has no value or merit. They awarded it to Jimmy Carter! An award, voted upon by bleeding hearted liberals for the bleeding hearted liberal who most fits their standards, isn't worth a whole lot. It's just hilarious that he's so pleased with himself, and at the same time by Gore winning the prize it pretty much snuffed out the last bit of prestige the award had. Next time maybe they can award it to Bill Clinton, he did all he could to get it and there's still next year.

Absolutely. The Nobel Prize committee is a very serious group. They do not award frivolous gifts. To me it validates everything Gore has tried to impart to the world about global warming. I'm really sorry the presidential election was taken from him. An inquisitive, intelligent mind would really be an asset in the White House right now.

war has everything to do about natural resources, like water in sudan. If you don't see the relevance between peace and global climate change im afraid you have your head up your ****. You are fine to diagree if you don't think it's a problem. I know its a passion of Al Gore's and that is why he and this coucil very much deserve it. The peace prize! I think its awsome of the committie for pointing out this relationship.

Sure, why not? Global warming effort does not equate the Nobel Peace Prize in my opinon but I congratulate Mr. Gore.

He certainly brought about awareness, and that should be recognized. I get so tired of all the disputed facts ... Climate change is real, and nobody has questioned that. The argument is whether it is attributable to human activity. In the last analysis, why does that matter? It is probably not solely attributable to what we are doing, but can anyone doubt that we are contributiong to the problem?

not me ... I'm a realist

Oh whoo-pee, Castro has won it. Stallin has won it. Even Hitler won it in 1939. Some prize to be so proud of.
