When you first start, it's common that your periods won't be regular. It'll take some time before your body works like clockwork...so meanwhile, make certain you always have some supplies with you in the case you start while you are away from home.

When girls start menstruating, it is much more common to have irregular periods than regular ones. You may have periods every 2-5 months, not monthly. Girls who are thin sometimes have a period, and then lose a bit more weight and not have another until they gain weight again. Often models and serious students of ballet and gymnastics have very irregular periods or even no periods. Over time, you'll likely see your periods conform more closely to the every 28-30 days you see in the textbooks.

Mostly, don't worry about it. Eat healthfully, get plenty of rest, don't stress out about it, and enjoy life. If you're scared about how you'll handle your period starting when you're not at home, you may want to carry a pad in your purse and wear a pantiliner.

Well not only pregnancy can make you miss a period. Stress and your diet can sometimes have this effect on you. Has anything in your life changed and if not that it can also be a hormonal imbalance. Try to relax it is probably nothing. If you start feeling pain then you should go to your doctor because it can be something serious. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111
