I've done both. I used the rhythm method for many years not getting pregnant. I did get pregnant one time when, I knew I was close to ovulating but didn't want to stop.
It's best to use some kind of barrier method, it not only prevents pregnancies but STD's as well.

Yes I have and did not get pregnant for a long time, but did after a year or 2. There is still a high chance for pregnancy though because of the "pre sperm" before he actually "finishes". And it depends on your ovulating cycle also if his sperm will be fertilized to your egg at that time or not. Some issues can be how fertile the two of you are. My first husband would just look at me wrong practically and I would get pregnant, but not so with my second husband. We tried for over a year before my daughter came along. If you are not planning a birth please be careful, there are way to many unwanted and aborted babies out in the world. I have my 3 kids and each were planned and wanted and now I am done and happy I was smart and planned them.

with my first boyfriend, we used condoms until i went on the pill. then we relied on the pill and i never got pregnant. with my husband, i was still on the pill until we decided to have a baby and i got pregnant after i went off of them.

NOT SURE WHY IT WOULD MATTER IF OTHERS GOT PREGNANT. I AM SURE THOSE OF US WITH KIDS ARE PROOF., NO CONDOM = PREGNANCY-WANTED OR NOT
