OIL...and geographic position. Make no mistake of thinking that for ONE NANOSECOND, that any Xtian leaders in this God-forsaken country actually SYMPATHIZE with the people who endured the Holocaust and then WERE REFUSED ENTRY into the U.S. after WWII!

The Statue of Liberty should read: "Give me your tired, your poor, your desperate masses...except anyone Jewish, or too dark-skinned, for that matter, or anyone who speaks Spanish, or any other language WE don't think is cute (the way we finally got used to those funny Irish, after persecuting THEM in the 1800's! Heh-heh!)..."

But ESPECIALLY...give us anybody RICH, especially from a country with oil to run our fossil-fuel-raping country...whether they speak Arabic or not..OK?"

That's the nuts & bolts of it: COLD HARD CASH FOR THE THE WEALTHY & A HUGE SIDE ORDER OF DISCRIMINATION FOR THE LESS-EDUCATED.

P.S.: I see from several other responses here that there is an ABUNDANCE, not only of Jew-haters, but racists who use the SLIGHTEST pretext (that's an excuse, you who are wondering) to slam minorities! How about I trash IGNORANT REDNECKS next??? You down with that? Why...we have one as "PRESIDENT"!!!

because the US created Israel and maintains it to have a foot hold in the middle east, since after WWII the US decided it was important to have influence over every part of the world...

I honestly kinda wish the US government would have been more honest about it's intentions at the time, I mean had they just come out and said "hey we won WWII and therefore we are the new empire now that Britain has been stripped of theirs". It still wouldn't be a good thing but at least it would be honest.

we are actually not Muslim and as a result infidels and violating the guidelines of Islam is worth of dying and this is their God given venture to punish us for it, particularly to get rid of the Jewish human beings. that's what Islamic radicals have confidence. It has intensified considering we've been in Iraq, i think of extra so because of the fact Al Queda might like no longer something extra desirable than to take it over and make into their very own Islamic state. US help of Israel intensifies it much extra, because it opens the can of worms that have been establishing and shutting for the previous couple thousand of years. They took the Holy Land and saved it for an particularly, very long term and then have been compelled to offer a number of it as much as recreate Israel. this is a mixture of our way of existence and our presence there. yet do no longer think of that if we purely up and left that they had end hating us. they had be waiting to plot and build in spite of they had to against us and that they gained't purely wish us harm, they're going to hold it upon us.

No! It is not because of the Bible. It is because the US believes that Capitalism is save in Isreali hands.

They have Senators such as Joe Lieberman, and GW Bush to thank for that. Bush 1 pulled funding from Israel for building their illegal, land grab settlements in Palestine territory.
