I heard from a friend that there'll be an episode 14, of the anime Sola. But i thought 13 was the last. And episode 14 is out tomorrow apparently.
Can someone clear this up? I'm not sure.

Here's the breakdown for you. There are 13 episodes in the original series. However, episode 14 is an OVA that will be released (that means orignal video animation, ie direct to video release so no tv showing). And if I'm not mistaken, there will be a second OVA.
Usually OVAs are either side stories, or give additional closure or prequels to regular series.
I haven't seen the OVA yet, so I'm not sure where it takes place in conjunction with the rest of the story, but you can get it off of bittorrent right now here (http://a.scarywater.net/doremi/%5BDoremi-Sola%5D.sola.14.v2.(h264).%5BDVD%5D.%5B6078ABE8%5D.mkv.torrent ), or wait a few hours / days, and it should appear on many direct download and streaming sites.
