colonial stereotypes= backwards, wild, savage, ungodly, uncivilized.
these days, they are stereotyped as uneducated, poor, and backwards in their ways.

Alchoholics, poor, slow talking. On the other hand, there are many people who think Native Americans have some type of wisdom and are more in touch with the Earth.

They all live in teepees, ride horses, and wear feathered war bonnets....in other words all Native Americans have the same culture as the Plains Indian culture group.

One big stereotype is that they are alcoholics or can't handle drinking very well.
They do drugs a lot.
That they are all getting government assistance because they are Native Americans.
They all own or work at casinos.

I disagree with these stereotypes but here they are:
uneducated, addicted to alcohol and drugs, get married early, poor, violent, unsuccessful, weak academically, unambitious.
Again I wanna emphasize that I disagree with these.
