pleasde help me with raid?

Hi, i am building my own computer. i just got the motherboard. It came with a driver cd, with other applications, and a raid floppy. What is the raid floppy disc for. if i use a sata cd drive do i need to install the raid. also when do i install the cd with drivers, before i install the operating system or after.

do it after you install the system.

RAID is for using multiple disk, RAID-0 is 2 drives merged as one, for maximum speed, RAID-1 is mirrored, so 2 drives = 1, as data are written to both the same time, in your case, you wont need the floppy.
