I know many 'Bizarre Factoids', but I'll just impart the one that first came to my mind when reading this question. I recently found out that most of the sand on white-sandy beaches is the result of excrement from a fish that eats algae off of coral. After seperating the coral and the algae, the digested coral is deposited as white sand. It's fascinating to me that those beautiful white beaches are partially the result of thousands of years of fish poop. Ah, the wonders of the Animal Planet channel.

The true story (as crazy as it sounds - NOT an urban myth) of Larry Walters of San Pedro California, who back in 1982 attached 45 weather balloons to a lawn chair so he could hover above his San Pedro neighborhood. His exit strategy was to use his BB gun to shoot the balloons one by one. Problem was, he freaked out when the meteorological balloons shot up like a bullet, leveling off at 16,000 feet, and was too afraid to use it fearing he’d plummet to earth. He flew in the chair around 14 hours then crashed into power lines in Long Beach, blacking out a neighborhood. For his act of daring, he was fined $1,500 by the Federal Aviation Administration. America is free
A woman arrested several times for apposing the war her son was killed in.
Man and son arrested for t-shirts opposing our government
Children forced in to a prison called school with threats against life daily.
Milk is good for you Milk is not good for you.
Sugar is natural sugar is causing all illness.
Chocolate good for you Chocolate has bad fat and sugar.
Wine good for you wine bad.
Smoking ok smoking causing all illness and death.
Water good for water contaminated.
Body must have meat meat should not be allowed cause it kills animals.
Liquid diet of fruits and vegs good liquid diets causes calories to easily obtained causing over eating.
Sun good source of life vitamin D and energy and warmth, sun causing damage to skin and eyes.

In parts of Alaska, it's illegal to feed alcohol to a moose.
Read this in a book about strange but true laws when I was younger and it still makes me laugh!

On Dec. 24,1985 my father died, I learned that my mother was not my mother...her sister was my mother, she passed away day after christmas that year..yes, two days after my father..That blew me away and still does to this day..How could no one in the family not know?..Well, I found out that they did..but, were told to never talk about it..the rest of it?..I found out my brother I am closest to was my twin...Least it explained why she never liked us and went out of her way to get us in trouble every chance she got..and boy, was that a lot!...

That dolphins, in utero, begin to grow limbs that then recede back into their body. Dolphins, they think, used to be land animals and this is a remnant of their genetic history!
