my friends goldwing has just had the stator replaced and hardwired around the stator plug but it still isnt charging above about 11.4 at highway speed. i'm thinkingmaybe rectifier?

caw is correct, but there is one more item that people often over look.
The battery.
If the battery is old and weak, it won't take a charge.
It won't matter how much power is going to the battery.
Give your battery a good charge and check it's voltage.
Then check the "specific gravity" of the electrolyte (acid) with a hydrometer.
Available at auto parts stores for under $10

If you've elimated the stator as the problem, that doesn't leave much left but the regulator/rectifier.
