Dallas will be something of a betting enigma this weekend, a 5-0 team laying more than a field goal at home. But that's what happens when the Patriots come to town. After opening as five-point home underdogs, many are looking at the 'Boys as a tasty bet, especially since they've outscored opponents 80-42 in Dallas this year.
Impressive numbers to be sure. Tantalizing, even. But don't let 'em fool you into thinking Dallas is a good wager.
Why? Well, if you live by the Romo, you die by him too. While he's been lauded for his gunslinging ways, Romo is still rather careless with the football and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired. He's turned the ball over in all but one of Dallas' games this year and is tied for the second-most interceptions in the league with eight.
That's risky business against a Pats team that thrives on takeaways. In its 34-17 closer-than-it-looks victory over Cleveland, New England's defense had three interceptions and a fumble recovery - those takeaways created 21 points. The Pats are tied with Indianapolis for the league lead in turnover differential at plus-seven. The Patriots' defense has forced 11 turnovers (eight interceptions and three fumbles), and the offense has turned it over only four times (two interceptions, two fumbles).
Romo can ill afford to turn the ball over against New England, but his style leads me to believe he won't be able to avoid it. The Pats win games because they win the turnover battles, and this week should be no different.

If the Cowboys hadn't almost lost their trap game against the Bills - and Romo hadn't turned the ball over 5 times - the Patriots would be a lock. Now, I'm not so sure.
The Cowboys fought through that adversity (mostly that they created for themselves, but it was adversity nonetheless) and they are now a better team for it. They were within a couple of seconds of a humiliating defeat that would have put them out of the undefeated category. Yet, somehow they pulled off the win.
Going against the Patriots, they will have the confidence that they can win any game, regardless of circumstances. The Patriots are a better team on paper than every other team in the NFL, including the intangibles (like their Super Bowl legacy, Belichick's defensive schemes, etc.). But, you still have to play the game.
I won't get to see it all the way through. CBS is showing the Chargers/Raiders locally and, even though I have cable and satellite (I have the NFL package), I don't have any way of recording it. But, I will be recording the Chargers game. So, I'll probably pay a lot of attention to the Pats/Boys.
I do, however, fully expect a barn-burner. And, 2/3 of my salary cap fantasy team is made up of either New England or Dallas players (I even have Brady at QB and Romo at a flex position).
The rest of my team? All Chargers, of course (LT, Gates, D and K).

It's funny how all these patriot fans think just because in the last couple of years they won superbowls they are the best team of all time. If i recall correctly before they came out with the new logo they were not only one of the worst teams of all time, but the team with the worst logo on their helmet, lol. That's what they used to be remebered for. So they have come a long way. Now on the other hand you have the most successful team in the NFL History of ALL-Time. Not just anyteam has the label of "Americas Team". The reason they got that name was because anywhere they go stadiums sell out, and people cheer from other cities for the cowboys. To make this short, if you like football show a little respect to the Boys from Dallas. By the way, Patriots have not beaten the Cowboys in the last 4 games @ HOME.

Patriots,
Moss will put up better numbers than Owens because of the fact Tom Brady has a good Offensive Line which will give him alot of time to find the open passing lanes. The pats defense will confuse tony romo because of the fact he does not have as much experience as tom brady. The Cowboys will not be able to run the ball well placing more pressure on romo therefore the cowboys become one-dimensional, and the pats will expect pass and the vicious secondary they have will shut down owens and keep a lock on witten.
