Sorry, I have not looked at the link and I don't want to tell you what to do. I just want to comment on "not signing the lease."
Have you moved in? The reason I ask is because in many states a renter doesn't have to sign a lease to make it valid. If you were given the lease and moved in, that's it, you are on the lease. The fact of moving in is the same as your signature. Not many people know this.
If you have not moved in, that's another situation and you can just forget about the whole thing and move on.

I guess I don't understand your question.

If you haven't signed the lease (unless you've already taken possession) then it sounds like you've already made up your mind.

If you've moved in, then you're sometimes required under the law to honor any verbal agreements you've made to the landlord.

Good luck.

its up to you. if its stuff you think you could tolerate, go for it. if i read reviews about a place having a ton of maintenance issues i would stay away. theres usually so many other places to pick from that it shouldn't be a problem finding an alternative place. if you decide to go for it and change your mind, there's always the option of finding a sub-leaser.

If you haven't signed a lease, yet, I would keep looking if I were you.
