Pete Rose the player should be in the HOF. He was one of the greatest hitters and players to step foot on a baseball field. If we deny Pete Rose the honor of being in the hall because of his character, we have to look back on some of the current members of the hall. Ty Cob was a sonovabitch who drank excessively and beat women and yet he ois in the hall. Babe Ruth was a bad person and he is in. Let Pete the player in, keep Pete the man and manager out.

I do. I think that it's criminal to not let him in a player since the gambling that he was charged with happened well after he retired. He was an amazing player and I think it will happen someday (probably after he dies), but until the at least Pete is in the WWE HALL OF FAME!!!

He DEFINITELY deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Whatever he may have done as a manager shouldn't effect what he did as a player. He is the all-time hits leader and was a great ambassador for the game for years. Many other players are in who don't really deserve to be simply because of favoritism and politics. Roger Maris should also be in.

I think we're denying future generations who are interested in baseball informations about one of the greatest baseball players there ever was by not letting him in. Thank G-d he's in the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame though.
