I think the best way to let him know you love him and WANT him, is to show him. Tell him he's great, thank him for little things he does, recognize he has had a hard day on the job. And then give him one of your own!

Push him against the wall and order him to "drop the drawers!" as you get on your knees. Sorry 'bout that, just kidding (kindof)...just going along with the group...these things can help but they are not the primary answer.
Nothing a man yearns to hear & know more than just how much he is loved and needed by someone...as long as it is honest, unforced, and straight-from-the-heart. So give him some "show & tell" and mean it. Stand by your man (sorry Tammy)...he'd die for you as long as he knows and believes that.
