Last time I saw it was yesterday on my desktop and I KNOW that I didnt delete it so where the hell is it??T__T it has all my precious pics and anime in it...
I checked the recycle bin, I checked the other folders in the desktop and I checked my documents,no one could have deleted it because:
-My pc is protected with a password and I'm 100000% sure that no one knows wat it is
-It was there yesterday
-When I leave my pc open and go for a while I always change the timing of the screensaver to 1 min and check the "resume to welcome screen" box
-No one was there to do something to it
And the other weird thing about it is when i was looking for it, I clicked on one of the songs in "My recent documents" menu, and the song played normally!! Cause if the folder is deleted so will the songs in it and if I click on it from the,for example,My recent documents menu it will ask to browse for it.I tried it 3 times in 3 different players and the songs played normally...SO WATS GOIN ON?

I'm using XP and I've already tried everything everyone suggested...
Another weird thing that just happened is that I went to realplayer and clicked on "Scan disk for media" and all the songs from that folder appeared (without an "X" on the name) and when I looked at the "file name" menu it said that the folder is still in the same place!!!

Open "My Computer" then right click on the "local disk" or "c:" drive and choose "search..." from there you can type in what you know about the folder, hopefully you know the exact name of it, if not you can use the name of something in the folder and search for that.
If you find it with the search program, you will be able to look at the "In folder" field, which will give you the path to get to your folder.
I do not know if you are familiar with this, so if not, right down the entire file path. Start at the left, it will probably say "c:/" that means "go into the c drive" The next piece of info to the right is the folder inside of the c drive. Keep on going to the right until you reach your folder. When you see it, you can copy it (get it highlighted and press Ctrl + c or right click and choose copy) then paste it on your desktop (Ctrl + v or right click and choose paste.
If that does not do it, I am not sure what happened

Open 'My Documents' and go to: Tools>Folder Options...>View and check under Hidden files and folders 'Show hidden files and folders'. Try reastarting if it's not there. (I am using XP) You could go to Start>Search>And search for it. If you have Google Desktop installed then I think that that can do some stuff. Now if none of those work then I would recomend visiting www.download.com. Search for 'WinDirStat' And download it. That program is AMAZING! You can search through all the files on your computer using it but you can also see what folders and files are taking up the most space on your computer. ITS FREE!
I don't know what has happened but it's probably the stupid microsoft system!

Use Start/Search/For File or Folders. Type the name of your folder in the All or Part of The Fliename box and push search. It should find it.

What size is your desktop? If you have it in the 800x600 size it may just be on a part of the screen you can't see. Go to display in your Control Panel and go to settings and change the Screen Resolution slider to 1024x768 and hit apply. Take a looky and see if it's there and after that change to slider back and hit ok. Hope you find it!
