Bleeding when pregnant is not called a period, even if it's similar. It's only a period when the lining of the uterus is being shed, and if that happened when you were pregnant it's a miscarriage. Any other bleeding is just bleeding and is from something else. About 50% of bright red bleeding during the first trimester leads to a miscarriage.

well, ive researched this question due to my own pregnancy. i was having bleeding during my last pregnancy and then later had a miscarriage. i did find out that there are lots of women that have period like bleeding during their pregnancy and it will cause them to not know they are pregnant. My aunt had period like bleeding and didnt know she was pregnant untill it stopped and the doctor said she was already 5 months along. the bleeding will be a little different than your regular period bleeding and you WILL show up positive on a pregnancy test. your probably going to get a million different answers for this question. everyone thinks something different. i called three emergency rooms the night my bleeding started during my pregnancy. one said it was normal and was implantation bleeding, one said i may be having a period and some women do that, and the last said that its not possible to have a period and that i was having a miscarriage. sorry i couldnt be of more help

If you're pregnant, you don't have true periods, but you can definitely have bleeding that might be very similar to a period, and might happen around the time your period is due. And yes, that is often the reason women might not know that they are pregnant.
But this is definitely the exception and not the norm.

a woman is fertile in basic terms few days in a cycle: the egg may well be fertilized interior 24-36 hours from its launch. on the different hand sperms can survive in her physique as much as 5 days. Sum it up and additionally you will choose that a woman is doubtlessly fertile from 5 days in the past ovulation to a million-2 days later on. Now the frustrating component is to verify whilst she ovulate. If she's prevalent, it will maximum in all probability take 12-sixteen days between ovulation and her next era. To sum it up: the final 9-10 days of her cycle she's no longer fertile. on the start of a cycle she might desire to be fertile if she has particularly short cycles (22-24 days).

Most people don't get their periods during the pregnacy. If this keeps happening talk to your docter.
