Frosty, my luv...NOBODY is worth 300 billion.

If you're talking about the job with the highest annual salary...not just how much all your stock is worth, or how much one big deal real estate development might earn someone in a given year...it's probably being the CEO of one of the large Investment Banking firms. There are several of them (in the U.S. and Europe) who are always competing to see who can pay their CEO the MOST, since that's sort of a "pride" thing among them. Some of the CEO's starting salary is over $100 million, and then they earn bonuses based on performance. So in a good year, they'll earn anywhere from $750 million to $2 billion.

Some people with high net worths...Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Paul Allen, etc...might earn a lot more depending on what the stock market does...but that's not part of their "base salary".
(In fact...a lot of the real multi-billionaires...actually draw relatively small salaries, all things considered.)

the department of labor has those statistics. anesthesiologists earn the most on a salary in the USA. it's like $150,000.

Of course there are a million other ways to earn more money. business owners can make billions. bill gates and that crazy guy in mexico are the richest.

I'm just assuming USA offers the highest salaries in the world.

That stated, whilst the fewer than referenced article says surgeons get $181,000, i in my view be conscious of of Neurosurgeons who, at ten years of adventure, take homestead over a million money a 365 days. (yet, they additionally artwork 2 24 hour on-call shifts a week, medical institution 2 days a week, surgical treatment 2 days a week ALL DAY, and in all probability put in ninety-one hundred hours finished a week. it is out of 168 hours, fifty six of that are nominally spent slumbering.) solid success to you!

Or Bill Gates, or Oprah, even.

Actually J. K. Rowling is worth more than Oprah. She wrote the Harry Potter books, of course. She's supposedly worth 300 billion.

Surgeons make the most at $65.89/hr; $137,050/yr. There are some company CEOs making a million but I do not classify that as a job but rather a position that you just hold for a short time. There are also unique individuals such as movie stars making millions.
