Bharath = Bha + Rath

Bha : God
Rath : Deep Passion
Bharath = The place where People who have passion towards god live

The name Bharath consists of two seed syllabal [beej] in it [Bha & Rath]. Rath also means Chariot. Normally a chosen Deity [God] is placed on a chariot is pulled or taken by the shoulder by its devotees. Bharath is also the place which becomes the chariot of God which is carried by its devotees. This could be one of the reason, why every religion is followed here with deep passion towards god. Hence this gifted land carries the best Culture and the best Knowledge / Wisdom (Gnyan) to the world.

Gentleman I love your questions but it takes me awhile to read them and get back to you.I know you are a patient person and will give me the time to answer them.I promise not to neglect a single one.Especially since I see that you are a learned fellow.I can't believe some of the stupid answers you get.Others are sincere and genuine.Anyway this particular question has me stumped although I will relentlessly pursue the answer.I know quite a bit about India,both about its cultural diversity and its geography.Most Americans know no more than to call there when they need a computer technician or they have read Rudyard Kipling.Yes it is amazing how so many diverse religions can abide side by side.The country is so large,it extends from China to the Indian Ocean.Well as with your other questions I will begin studying this one and moving on to the next one.I mean Bharath is a term, but that term has more to it than the brief explanation you leave us with.

I can always proudly say that I am India, because u know y, us Indians have our charm !!! our amazing culture that blends in with all the morals in the world, so no one say that v r bad !!

Aren't proud of being an Indian, a true India who is proud of India, not when it wins a cricket match or not when u see a movie like Chak de India. But i am proud of my country each and very day !!!
