Im upset that a great feat that used to stand for something has turned into a political force. This choice, more than any other Nobel Committee selection, marks the end of a 105-year era. In direct contradiction of Alfred Nobel's last will and testament, the selection of Gore essentially means the Peace Prize can no longer be said to be an award for improving the condition of humankind. Looking at Gore's writing, it's far from clear that Gore even believes that humanity is his most important priority. Gore does not even profess improving the human condition as his fundamental goal. Rather, his stated desire is to stop human activity that he sees as ruining what he calls the "ecosystem." Awarding the prize to Gore in 2007 is the equivalent of honoring the Luddites who tried to stop the beneficial technologies of Alfred Nobels's day.

And what precisely did Zerobama accomplish, or perhaps do, to DESERVE or EARN the Nobel Peace Prize? I advise as wellbeing born a million/2-black, what did he unquestionably do? only like Saturday night stay reported: Obama did not something to deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. Nada. 0. Zip. Goose egg. the great bagel. It exhibits what a sham and a phony the Nobel Prize is, and what a sham and a phony Hussein Zerobama is. And to coach the fix replaced into in from the beginning up, the grimy little key is that Obama replaced into nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in common terms some days after he replaced into nominated to be the valid Dumocrat candidate for president. Zerobama wasn't even ELECTED President yet, he hadn't finished JACK SQUAT, and the Nobel Prize committe replaced into already making plans to furnish this LOSER the Nobel Peace Prize for extremely not something extra suitable than being a million/2-black! each physique who's happy or proud that Zerobama have been given this "Peace Award" for DOING/achieving not something for international peace is the two an entire fool or a brazen partisan political hack.

I'm upset because awarding the Nobel prize to Al Gore diminish the value of the Nobel prize for all those who deserve it.
Same with Henry Kissinger, the Dalai Lama, Shimon Peres, Arafat, Anwar ElSadat, Itzak Rabin and all the other warmongers that were awarded it for political reasons.

I couldn't care less he got a noble prize, I don't understand why the peace prize since his movie has nothing to do with peace, but aside from that I don't care. He can win the lottery, the super bowl, world series or a cake walk contest. As long as he doesn't win the presidential election I DON"T CARE!

Doesn't make any sense, does it?

My best guess is that they're afraid of the possibility that the public will have a greater respect for him and, therefore, a greater respect for the Democrat party.

I think that there should have been another award for Al Gore but since the Nobel Peace Prize encompassed his actions, then he should have it. When I think Nobel Peace Prize, I think of people who have strived to end war.
