yeah.. what she said.. The mother is openly bi, and at several points in the movie they imply that her and her daughter in law (or soon to be...?.. it's been awhile, so I don't remember exactly)were together.. but I don't remember it being shown at all..

Jayne was an admitted bi-sexual. Alex was fascinated by, attracted to, and curious about Jane. In both the pool scene and the bedroom scene Alex willingly delved into bi-sexual activity with Jane. The bedroom scene went no further than kissing and fondling before Jane stopped it. Two bits of dialogue in that scene (Alex asked Ian what he wanted her to do and Ian answered 'finish it'; and Jane told Ian 'I can't screw my sons girlfriend and I can't lay there and watch you do it either') indicates to me that no sex happened in the pool scene either. Therefore, although Alex was bi-curious about Jane it never came to pass in the movie. As to whether Alex actually would have had sex with Ian and/or Jane, either during the movie or later, we can only speculate.

kinda, and its weird because its the mother with her son's girlfriend. its more of a bi-sexual thing than lesbian.
