i had i 2nd child 6 weeks ago and still bleeding off and on i had no lower pain just bleeding and little blod cloths. it seems everytime it seems like its going away it just starts up again. i dont now if its because my doctor had me start taking my birth control pills 2 weeks after having my baby... what should i do???

If your bleeding hasn't stopped in 2 or 3 weeks, or increases in quantity instead of decreasing, go see your doc. Be sure to keep all your post natal checkup appointments.

Lochia last upto 2 months at time. Birth control is a good step. Maybe a stronger dose is required. Also I'd talk to your doctor about your iron levels. Mine was really low I found out after bleeding for 45 days. I needed iron supplements and once I took them I stopped bleeding.

i think it is normal .. it can last for 8 weeks to some people
