I was looking for a place to move my trailer, when my landlord said she was evicting me. She found out I was looking for a place and someone called the NAACP on her for her saying and I quote, "You will never see a N_ _ _ _R in my park". She evicted me and told me it was because I was the one that called. My 10 yr told her who it was who it was. Now the crazy woman, will not trim down these nasty bushes that I have been begging her to cut down, that grow like a tree around my trailer and over my trailer. The trailer can not be moved unless the tree/bush is removed off it and she refuses to do it. I have this land and permits and all ready to move my trailer the heck away from this nutcase and it can't be move. Can I legally cut down the bushes? Can she hold me hostage and harrass me further with this? What can I do? She gave me a 5 day eviction on Sept. 26th. And is demanding I pay for October. I want out

You have NOT been evicted! Only the courts can order an eviction! She has given you notice to quit, that's all. Getting a tenant out of a park takes much more time than kicking one out of an apartment, typically at least 90 days.

You can prune back the trees and bushes enough to remove your trailer. The park should do that for you but probably are under no obligation to do so.

Don't worry about this old cow. Trim the bushes and trees as needed to get your trailer out and send her the bill. (Get a pro to do it!) Sue in Small Claims Court if she fails to pay.

Oh wow...I am so sorry for your misfortune. Although, I do know what it's like since I also reside in a trailor with horrible managers.

My advice:
Cut them down yourself. She can't do anything about it, since you have been begging her and she refuses. There's nothing she can do. If she wants you out, then you have to get out and if she isn't going to help, then she can't really do anything. You pay for lot that she's kicking you out of, so what's the harm in giving her what she wants. And no, she cannot demand October's rent from you. If it's her fault that you are still there, then she can pay for your rent. She evicted you in September, therefor your dues are paid.

Good luck with everything :)

What a crappy person. If you trim the bushes and trees yourself, she will find a way to make your life more miserable.

If I were in this situation, I would go to the sheriff's office, if you're outside the city limits, or the police department, if you're inside the limits and ask for an officer to be present while you move your trailer.

Good luck.

Call the city and talk to code enforcement. There may be a rule that requires her to cut it for you. And they will fine her if she doesn't or they will come do it for her and charge her for being a brat about it! Good luck-check the white pages in the phone book for the city code enforcement department!
