to the last post well excuse me for not rembering my classes from oh so long ago...but also a question posted to your response the reason i asked is that i am planning to go to the blossoming ceremony and i know the time has to be exact timing to see it so when generaly does the trees bloom

If you wanna know when to go to see the sakura blossoms, it depends where you are going. The dates change every year. Check out this website - it has all the dates, where...etc.

I've already been knocked for being too negative, so let me say this positively.
A globe is cheaper than a personal computer :) You can go to your local library or school and see that everything in the northern hemisphere has all of its seasons at the same time. AND :) if you look closely, you see the horizontal lines, some of which running through the US go through Japan (the island group east (that's right) of Asia or China.
Second, although spring happens at the same time, it is NOT the same, as Japanese spring time really does take three perfect months with the much feted falling of cherry blossom petals and gradual warming (although getting more accelerated due to global warming) up into summer. It is unique.
