Every time you have a corner.

Or every time you need to figure out something using trigonometry.

This is a common question about anything we learn in class.
At first I thought you were saying we don't need geometry, why do we learn. But I guess you're just wondering how we can utilize them.

Besides obvious important things such as construction/architecture, travel, sports, etc.
I've used angles (geometry) in videogames and games such as billiards, couronne, and shuffleboard.

It all works very nicely.

have you ever tried to triangulate without angles? or all that cool stuff they do in CSI? How about putting up shelves, or scamming people over size of houses? geography and interstellar calculations? angle of incidence of bullets and such things, as well as shape of points for drills according to material to perforate and to perforate with, and not least, cutting diamonds. :) and the list can go on and on and on

You need a great deal of it in engineering, physics etc.Without angles you can't build a house, or even make a 3D animation.

When they build your new house they will need them. When they put the fence around the house they will need them. If you want to go on the roof of you house and need to know how tall a ladder you need, you will need them.

I could think of many more - but I think you get the point.

Hope that helps.
