Tell your parents to go to the school and ask to see the schools disclipline policy.
The school has specific reasons for sending a child to detention, and I am sure sneezing isnt' one of them.
Your parents should be able to stop this in it's tracks if they do this.
As for Saturday there is NO way they can do this. Just don't go.

According to an apocryphal tale: When asked for her occupation, a woman charged with a traffic violation said she was a schoolteacher. Upon hearing that, the judge rose from the bench and said with a smile of delight, "Madam, I have waited years for a schoolteacher to appear before this court. Now sit down at that table and write 'I will not pass through a red light' five hundred times!" Understanding the origins and purpose of public education helps in discovering the type of person most likely to fit into the system. It is important to appreciate that the current educational scheme has less to do with teaching reading, writing, and arithmetic than with making children obey rules without questioning them. As a result, any child that questions authority becomes a convenient target. While some teachers care whether or not students acquire a meaningful education, others are more focused on driving square peg students into the round holes that cut off student individuality, questioning, etc. These teachers become proficient in little games of classroom gotcha. Smirks are just one manifestation of this game playing. More insights into the history and purpose of American public education are available in books written by John Taylor Gatto. The former teacher spent 28 years in New York schools and was a teacher of the year. .

That stinks - Life is not fair, and whoever told you it was, lied. That's what I tell my students all the time. I don't mean to sound harsh - but reality is harsh sometimes. When we give detentions we have to write up what you did to earn it. What did this teacher write - or say?
