...or are they totally interchangeable between people and pets?

Great answers, guys!

Milo is an interesting one. On the one hand, he's the brooding dude who plays Peter Petrelli on "Heroes" (Milo Ventimiglia). On the other hand, he's an orange tabby cat who hangs around with a pug named Otis.

Ginger -A nickname for a child.

Brandy -A dog or a stripper

Shiloh -A beagle, or Brangelina's daughter

Cody -A large dog. Also, a child's name. Not a nice choice, but it is used fairly often.

Scout -A dog or a Southern girl with a dad named Atticus.

Milo -Kid.

Angel -Stripper, whore, or small yippie dog. Unfortunately, also a child's name. Not a good one, but it is used. I went to school with a girl named Angel Fawn. She went by Raven and hated her parents.

Rudy - Neither, I hope. Maybe a nickname for Rudolph or Rudyard or something. I somehow sounds dirty to me.

Chance -Totally a dog.

I mean, people do use all of these names for their children, but still, I think the majority of these are nicknames or dog names at best. Milo is the clear exception to me.

Actually I know people named:(in parentheses is what they do)

Cody (high school student wants to be a marine)
Angel(short for Angelina, is a teacher)
Rudy(musician)
Brandi(retail employee/nursing student)
Ginger(restaurant manager)

Shiloh and Scout are celebrity baby names and I would not want to be associated with them. Milo does make me think of the cat. Chance was the white boxer from Homeward Bound.

Some of them do, some of them don't. I think Ginger, Brandy, Scout and Milo should be strictly pet names. The others can work for people pretty well.

All of these names are, of course, puppy and kitty names because i am sure we have all met dogs and cats named ginger and brandy

and of course they are all interchangeable with people if you want them to be because i have defiantly met Cody's and angels

but these are used as puppy and kitty names because of lack of a more unique name that they could think of at the moment

so maybe you could stop and think of a more unique name for your baby if you are having one

Brandy, Cody, Scout, Angel, Chance are interchangeable. The others are iffy and would make me think of dogs more than people.
