Well I recently Discovered this site named www.modthesims2.com and figured out you had to download. So i did. Then i used the intrucstions but they didn't help. So basically i need to know HOW I GET MY DOWNLOADED SIMS ON TO SIMS 2 I have Nightlife and H&M stuff. Please first answer that works will get BEST answer

Well if you think that when you download a sim they are going to show up in a family bin, you're wrong. You need to put it in your downloads folder and then go to create a family. Click on create a sim and then next to the dice, above the name bar, there is a little person icon looking thing. When your mouse key hovers over it, it shud say create an existing sim or sumthing like that. Then click on the sim that you downloaded. You have to make sure that you have the right age and gender selected before you pick the sim or it wont show up.

First of all, you need to make sure the sims you downloaded are compatible with your games.
If all you have is the base game and H&M, you can only download sims who only have those two games listed. If they are listed as having University, or Pets, or any other expansion pack or stuff pack, you won't be able to play them.
Second, you have to put the sims into your files. If it's a package file, just drag them into your Downloads folder, and they should show up. If it's a simspack file (looks like a blue box with a body) you need to double click the file. It will self install.
One more thing, if you download something that requires a mesh, you need the mesh for that to work as well. I'm sure the instructions are very easy to follow, it just takes a few minutes to read and pay attention. If you want more help, MTS2 has their own forum you can ask questions on. You have to unzip everything and move it to your Download folder then when loading the game it will ask you to enable custom content, so you click enable and then you have to exit the game and restart. You have to make sure you download the mesh for some items and also whatever you donwload does not require another ep that you don't have otherwise it will not work
