Sometimes I find that people have starred my questions, but didn't answer. Why do you suppose that is?

i do that sometimes - if there is a good question,and i don't have an answer - or i would like to go back and see the answers quickly to get more information. i do it on questions that have a direct answer,like "do fish sleep" i starred that once just to see why,because i had no idea myself. things like that ...

I do that sometimes......I see a really good question and I want to give that person a star because I really like it and appreciate it......but maybe I can't think of a good answer for it.....or maybe someone else has already said the same thing I wanted to say.....I live on the West Coast of the US so when I get up alot of times I am already 2 or 3 hours behind some of the questions that have been asked......so many answers have already been entered to each question.....so sometimes, I just don't answer........= )

Maybe to indicate they're still alive, but that the question isn't worth answering? Maybe because they're hoping for a question they'll want to answer?
