1. (-7)^-2
= 1/(-7)^2
= 1/49

2. 7k^6m^-5
= 7k^6/m^5

3. 7/(x^-8 y^6)
= 7x^8/y^6

Just remember x^m = 1/x^-m and 1/x^m = x^-m.
You can move x^m up or down as long as you change the sign of the exponent

1) (-7)^-2 is the same as 1/(-7^2) (you can probably figure out what that is )

2)just like the other one, if you have a negative exponent just put a one over it and then you can just make the exponent positive.

(7k^6)/(6m^5) this is the answer to number 2

3)move the x^-8 to the top and you can make the -8 a positive 8.

7x^8y^6 (i'm not sure if your y^6 is in the denominator or not)

1.

(-7)^(-2)= 1/((-7)^2) = 1/49

Do notice that (-7)^(-2) is the inverse of (-7)^2
(-7)^2 is 49. NO square of a number can be negative except zero.

2. require brackets and i can't understand with these keyboard symbols

3. same here
