If it's a real commercial audition then you bring your sunny disposition and most positive attitude and arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Did your agent get you this audition or did your hear about it somewhere like the mall, a tv or radio ad, etc.? If it's not from your agent chances are it's not legit so please check careully before attending. Many of these things are just covers for scam companies that ripoff people who want to be actors and models. They tell you lies up front and in the end try to sell you overpriced but worthless classes. Please don't fall for it. If you know the name of the company you are auditioning for and it did not come from a legit agent who is taking 10% of your pay after you book the job then look that company up on ripoffreport.com first and check for complaints with the bbb.org (though that's not always reliable) just to investigate some.

If it's legit I honestly wish you the best of luck. Remember you have to sell a service or product in 20-30 seconds so be the perfect all-american girl or whatever character description they gave you, and go real animated with your dialogue. That's a general take on commercials, but make your own decision when you see the copy they provide.

good luck!

In a word, you. Now since you do not know and they did not seem to tell you. Are you sure about this audition being legit? It seems to have a couple of holes in it. Contact me and tell me the name of the company that is holding the audition what product it is for and how you got the audition. I have no other interest in this except to save you from getting scammed. Doc
