If you're going to tackle writing a book, you should figure out the difference between "there" and "their."
Anyway, I got in trouble my first day of first grade during snack time for brushing crumbs off of my skirt and onto the floor. I would advise little girls not to do that.

I'm a boy, but I was nervous, shy, and intimidated by all the hustle-bustle.
