speed of light = frequency * wavelength

Frequency = 3e8 / 4e-7 = 7.5e14 Hz

velocity = wavelength x frequency
since the velocity of all electromagnetic waves = 3 x (10 ^8)

then the frequency of the radiation = (3 x 10^8) / (400 x 10^-9)
= 7.5 x (10^14) Hz

300,000,000/w=f
300 x 10^6/400 x 10^-9 = .75 x 10^15
750,000,000,000,000 Hz or 750,000 GHz (gigahertz).
