It would depend on what the surgery was. Also, the reason the bandages are there are to protect the incision and to help keep it from getting infected. I have had two incisions get infected and it's not fun at all. So, yes I would go to work even if the bandage was visible.

Yes, I would leave the bandages on.
Question back - would you want to see a co-worker's bandages, or the grotesque-ness underneath??

Personally, the bandages are less vomit-inducing (especially during lunch hour)

Yes, unless I was an actor or had to face customers and the bandages were grotesque in some way.

I would take off as long as I could with pay but if I had to go I had to go and if my bandages show they show.
