Sometimes a twin or triplet is "reabsorbed," but until you have an ultrasound, there's no way to know. Sometimes it's hard to tell the 3 heartbeats apart.

I'm sure they are going to check things out through ultrasound for you. Could be there was a mistake before and there were only two originally? Or depending on how far along you are and how big/small the babies are, the two may be "hiding" the third? If you didn't have any type of bleeding, I would say that things are probably ok. Only a picture will tell. Best of luck and hope all turns out ok.

You need to have an u/s to confirm this. It's quite possible that you did lose one or maybe the third baby was just in a difficult position for the doctor to hear the heartbeat. Baby could have been hiding. Good luck with everything.

you really should ask your doctor to check again and make that determination...people on here are just gonna get your nerves and scared with dumb answers so they can have points. This is a very serious situation with three little ones depending on you. Go back and ask your doctor if you had a miscarriage and don't rely on these people for a doctors diagnose because its most likely ..they don't have a clue themselves either.

sometimes you can't find the heartbeat using a doppler. If they have called you back for more tests then ask them the questions, i would have thought though if you were at a check up, they would have told you if they had any concerns. How far are you? I wish you well x x x

I wouldn't think so. Did you had any bleeding or any sever pain? Monitors sometimes won't detect the heartbeat. Go get another one to put you mind in ease and do not worry.
Good luck!

That could be one possibility or one baby may be behind another. Before you go to your next doctor's appt., make a list of questions and go over it with him/her. That way you won't forget any questions you may have. Best of luck to you.

if you have had alot of bleeding i would say its a good possibility but if not then i would say they probably just couldnt find the other at the time-completely normal with multiples. if the docs didnt seemed worried, all three are probably fine!
