One commits many things, but abortion isn't one of them. Some women have abortions for many reasons. If you have a thing about abortions, then, you should read up on miscarriages. After all, a woman's body is capable of having a spontaneous abortion, which is known as, a miscarriage.

So before you crucify women who had an abortion procedure done, you need to think about the body's capabilities in having an abortion as well. Or would you prefer the women to avoid an abortion procedure and force a miscarriage? hmmm...what would you think then?

Never judge a book by its cover or the contents within it. You may be shocked to discover that it's full of information you failed to uncover.

English is my third language, but "committing" is an incorrect verb to use for abortion.

I have never been pregnant, and never had an abortion, but people don't have abortions to improve their lives---it's not plastic surgery or career advancement. Most have abortions because they don't want to bring an unwanted child into this world....a child that can't be taken care of or properly cared for.

Having an abortion is a difficult decision for every woman to make, there is no need to beat them up even more with additional guilt.

You'd be hard pressed to find someone who would tell you if she had had an abortion because of all the stalkers and harassers at Yahoo Answers, but many would tell you that while suctioning out a 3-cell embryo is not murder, it's very painful and takes a couple of months to recover. Most would try very hard to avoid being in that situation ever again. So, I would say, better.

It depends on the person and their reason... Emotionally you miss that child cuz you knew of it. Guilt strikes because you often wonder what you could have done to make a better life for that child.

"Commited" abortion?

That makes your (biased) point of view obvious from the outset.

You "commit" a crime.

You have an abortion.

To be honest it really is none of your business. A woman's body belongs to her. Does that bother you??
