anybody kno wat B3 steppings are? i was looking at the intel q6600 at newegg and the reviews were talking about newegg shipping out B3 steppings and that G0 steppings were better. whats a B3 and a G0 stepping? and whats the difference?

Steppings are basically a version number, meaning while it is the same model processor, it has been revised in certain ways, ideally to make it better. In this case the big difference is that the G0 models produce less heat, and as a consequence are much better when it comes to overclocking.
