Hey. A couple of days ago I guess an insect bit my eye lid twice. two days later I woke up and its all swollen. I can open it but you can tell that it seems like someone punched me in the eye lol.

anyways I need to get rid of this fast. Anybody know how to reduce the swollen eye? I tried cold water and ice but i havent noticed a drop off in the swollen ness. Any medicines out that or anything else? thanks!

Try Benadryl....none of the fancy ones just the little pink and white pills. You can also buy benadryl cream or a benadryl stick that may help, just make sure you don't get it in your eye. If it doesn't go away soon you may want to see a doctor. If it gets infected it will affect your eye sight, and any infection near your brain isn't a good thing either. Good luck!

Nope, just have to wait it out. I got bit once in the eyelid by a hugh mosquito in S.E.Asia. I was blind in that eye for three days before it finally let up. That sucker must have taken a pint of blood. lol..It will heal in it's own time, not yours.
