I have a computer at work with XP/Pro and a computer at home with the same. I'm going to be working from home and wanted to know what the best way to have complete access to my office computer is. Should I use the remote access in xp/pro or go with one of those internet programs like Log-Me-In.com.

Ask the IT department at your work. They probably have a VPN connection you can use or will be able to tell you if Remote Desktop will even work or how you should access your work computer from home.

I do not advise you download software as some of these guys recommend. the first guy had the right answer. Your IT department will appricate that alot more, rather than you receive a virus or making the network fail.

Hamachi will also work.

VNC is a good tool, if you can get a VPN in your corporate.

And RDP, but it will need to go over the VPN as well.
