In my opinion, HELL NO! To me, regarding Ann Coulter as the model Christian is just as ridiculous as falling for the lie that Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are representatives of black people or that President Bush speaks for all of America.

Someone on the radio this morning said that the next time she goes in for plastic surgery, they should sew her mouth shut. Snark.
The person who chided you for generalizing about all Christians from one person should get busy reading all the "questions" on here asking "Do all liberals hate America?" and such.

As a Christian, one thing I know we shouldn't be is judgmental. That being said, Coulter makes it difficult not to be. On the other hand , given you actions, it is not so much judgment, but observation.
I don't personally know of any Christian that would want to be associated as the type of person Ann is. Few real Christians act the way she does.

As someone who spent many years growing up in the evangelical movement, what Ms. Coulter said reflects the belief structure of many spirit-filled evangelical churches around the country. They are taught to believe that while Jews ARE God's chosen people, they are considered sinners in the eyes of God until they accept Jesus as their saviour. I remember hearing this stated several times from the pulpit of the Assembly of God Church I attended.

Amazingly, she is supported by certain top Christian pastors with huge congregations which really goes to show that modern Christianity has it's own correlates to the scribes and pharisees Jesus lashed out at in the bible. They talked the talked but had no desire to walk the walk. They major on the minors of Christianity.

No she is not a model Christian. I like Ann Coulter but do not agree with everything she says or how she presents it. Model Christians are the Apostles and Saints to Catholics. Other Christians look at the Apostles and some of these saints as their models for a Christian life.
