Hi! Can someone please answer these 4 questions for me? I don't want to "impulse buy"! Thanks.
With 1GB of memory, a dual-core AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ processor, and a 250GB hard drive, the HP Pavilion Slimline S3020n PC is fully loaded yet the tower itself is merely one-third the size of a traditional tower PC.
Specs--
AMD Athlon 64X2 3800+ 2.0GHz, socket AM2, GeForce 6150 LE chipset, 1MB L2 cache
1GB DDR2 PC2-4200 SDRAM, 2GB max in 2 slots
250GB SATA HD, 16X DVD(+/-)R/RW RAM (+/-)R DL LightScribe drive
Nvidia GeForce 6150LE graphics with up to 319MB of shared video memory; 7.1 channel audio
1- Will the 1/3rd size of the tower make difficult to find upgrades?
2- Is the "shared video memory" bad for gaming? Easy to add a new vid card?
3- Does "dual core" mean that it actually is a 4.0Ghz processor?
4- Can I stick a 512M DDR RAM stick into the 2nd port? Is it compatible with SDRAM? Is it any good?
