ok. we were outside doing an exercise in drama...duck duck goose. anway i was it and my shoe can flying off and i fell face first into the concrete. most of the guys were laughing, i think even the one i have a crush on. it sucked. three girls helped me up. my jeans were ripped, my elbow and knee were bleeding, and for about 20 minutes i could barely move my arm. why the hell would guys laugh at this? i'd really like to know.

If you were playing duck duck goose then it sounds to me like you are pretty young in age. Unfortunately, at an early age, most males are not mature enough to understand that it isn't cool to laugh at somebody in your position.
Some of those same males will be the first ones asking you out on dates when you get to that age. I would bet big money you will remember each and every one of them that laughed at you. So ... you can take great joy in telling them about the time they laughed at you while you are turning down their requests for dates.

Yeah, sorry to tell you this, but that's pretty darn funny! Think about it. You are watching a comedy show on TV and someone falls and their shoes go flying off. It sounds like something you would see on America's Funniest Videos. I guarantee those girls were laughing too. They just didn't let you see them laugh. The only reason you are upset about it is because you liked one of the guys in the group and you felt humiliated when you fell.

a lot of physical comedy is based upon pain/humiliation of someone else; it's a sort of relief "gee, I'm glad that wasn't me!"
a lot of times people do regret laughing, especially if someone is actually hurt, but the initial response can be largely involuntary.

dat was funny i laughed too and im a girl.
and it's not just guys that laugh when they see sum1 fall...everyone does. think about it, if u see sum1 fall u wud laugh or u may even giggle.....it's human nature!

Sometimes it's pure embarrassment as they don't know how to react.....and, put away the fact that you were actually harmed, it sometimes can be humourous to watch

well, they are just very rude like that! they think they are cool. if your crush or other guys were laughing.. then its because they wanted to "fit" in. no matter what...
