I couldn't watch the Rangers game yesterday because it was blacked out. I know the Sabres are on MSG but is there a certain TV rule between the Rangers and Sabres that I should follow? The Rangers are blacked out sometimes and I don't know what games come on here in Albany and what games I'll miss. I go to school in Albany and I'm not too familiar with when I'll get the games. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Edit: when I said last night, I meant the Isles game (for what it's worth). They didn't show the Isles game on television up here in Albany.

The Islanders aren't carried on MSG, it was carried on FSNY2 (You'll have to find out the Albany equivalent)

Ronnie Gardocki, the NHL does not use attendance to determine whether a game is televised, and never has.

rangers didnt play last night.

you shouldnt be blacked out at all this year, theyve sold out every game. if you get the sabres games instead of the ranger games, try FSN, MSG2 or other similar sports channels. MSG network owns a few of them and once in awhile you will see games on them. also try www.msgnetwork.com/Rangers_tv_schedule.jsp
there is also an msg overflow website, i cant find it right now because im at work but i will try to post it in here when i can. if not tonight check back in a couple days.

just to be safe, i purchased the center ice package.
