i dont really think of naruto as being a post apocalyptic anime or even an anime where the world is in chaos. sorry. ive already seen them both (well, still watching shippuden)
i also want to mention: orphen.
and somones probably going to mention this so why not? Dragon ball z (reg and gt, too)

well i got the perfect one! Dragon Ball Z that in is all about another race coming to invade earth, but Goku (main character) tries to stop them
Another anime i like is Bleach, and after that is Blood+, Full Metal Alchemist and Inuyasha

wow i cant believe u never seen this show! Naruto and Naruto shippuuden. Its the coolest show in the world you just gotta look it up on youtube.com! trust me its an amazing show. I also like the movie Spireted Away by higho miyazaki(i think i spelt that right)
