I awill be staying at a park lane hotel, along with the congestion charge and hotel parking its going to cost me nearly £50. is there a cheaper alternative??

Most of the area is only controlled between 8:30 and 18:30 Monday - Saturday. It is £4 an hour between those times, so it depends what time you are there.

Also Park Lane is not in the Congestion Charge Zone.

If you can afford to stay at the Park Lane hotel, you can afford do pay for the car park.
If someone else is paying for your stay at the hotel, get them to pay for your parking costs.

That said, the cheapest alternative is to take a cab.

park at greektown and take the people mover over. I don't know of any other place, but check and see if Marriott has overnight parking.

find yourself a parking meter bay, after a certain time i believe its free to park!
