Oh not Puffy Gore, I mean Dick Cheney.
http://www.factcheck.org/article261.html
However, Cheney and his wife Lynne have assigned any future profits from their stock options in Halliburton and several other companies to charity. And we're not just taking the Cheney's word for this -- we asked for a copy of the legal agreement they signed, which we post here publicly for the first time.
The "Gift Trust Agreement" the Cheney's signed two days before he took office turns over power of attorney to a trust administrator to sell the options at some future time and to give the after-tax profits to three charities. The agreement specifies that 40% will go to the University of Wyoming (Cheney's home state), 40% will go to George Washington University's medical faculty to be used for tax-exempt charitable purposes, and 20% will go to Capital Partners for Education, a charity that provides financial aid for low-income students in Washington, DC to attend private and religious schools.

It won't work. Libs still think the guy is evil incarnate, even if they don't believe in evil.
Good for him, though. Makes me proud to be an American.

"after-tax profits to three charities" LOL
HERE'S THE FACTS
According to Cheney's 2001 financial disclosure report, the vice president's Halliburton benefits include three batches of stock options comprising 433,333 shares. He also has a 401(k) retirement account valued at between $1,001 and $15,000 dollars.
His deferred compensation account was valued at between $500,000 and $1 million, and generated income of $50,000 to $100,000.
In 2002, Cheney's total assets were valued at between $19.1 million and $86.4 million.

Cheney HAD to divest himself of Halliburton stock. Gore could have kept the cash, he is giving it because he believes in the cause. I think it is tradition to give away the cash prize or use it for research. Gore is worth about $100M at last count. I don't think $750,000 is going to break him anyway.

It appears Darth Vader has a heart after all... Anyway, this will fall on deaf ears when it comes to liberals. They hate him and Bush so blindly, nothing will convince them of the good they do.
