how do i get cd rom video games to load if i dont have the case with the code on it anymore?

i bought several fun games over the past year or two and my wife tossed out the cases with the loading codes on it... the pirating stuff.... so now i have games that i cannot load on my new cpu... someone help!

look on the internet for cd keys for whatever game it is
